What is your cancellation policy?

We Understand. Life happens and plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to free up courts and spaces for our community, ensuring everyone has a chance to enjoy them: You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before the start time without any charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time will be charged the full reservation price. Programs and Events: Cancellation policies for programs and events may vary, so please review the event details carefully before signing up. All applicable charges will be applied to your credit card at the time of cancellation. Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth and accessible experience for all!

I'm a pickleball newbie. Do you have options for pickleball beginners?

Yes, we offer programming designed to introduce fundamentals and pair with other beginners. PickleBOS is a great environment to learn pickleball. We have four easy to find courts and you don't even need to worry about remembering the score, with our digital scoreboards!

Do you host pickleball tournaments?

Yes, we host tournaments. Email us at play@picklebos.com with any questions.

How does the waitlist work?

When a spot on the waitlist opens up, everyone who is on the waitlist for the session will be notified and the first person to accept the spot will get into the session.

Can I coach or host a clinic on site?

Outside coaches must be approved with management. To learn more about coaching at Picklebos reach out to Carmelo at carmelo@picklebos.com.

How do I book a Lesson with a Coach?

When booking a court, filter by 'coach'. Court times with coaching available will show. Select your coach/time and reserve the court.

Do you have balls and paddles?

Our Joola house paddles and balls are always free! We think its silly when clubs charge for paddles and balls.😉

How many points do you play to in pickleball?

11 - but don't worry, our scoreboards will do the scoring so you can focus on playing.

How to add DUPR Rating to a game?

When setting up your match on the ipad, select 'DUPR' match, and the scoreboard will automatically record and upload your DUPR match scoring.

How much does it cost to play?

Pricing can be found on the Picklebos app at 'Book a Court' or visit the pricing tab on our website.

Membership
Do you offer memberships?

Yes! We think memberships should be simple. We have one membership that can be purchased on a monthly or annual period. Our monthly membership is $75/month and our annual membership is $825/year (12 months for the price of 11.

Currently we are only offering our standard membership which is either a monthly or annual membership. Monlthy memberships are a 2 month minimum and can be cancelled at any time after that. Yearly memberships can only be cancelled after the first year.

Should I get a membership? Do you play open play 6x a month - YES. Or, do you rent 4 hours of court time a month - YES. Otherwise we recommend you pay as you play as a non-member.

Can I reserve a Pickleball court in advance?

Yes, we require courts to be booked in advance before playing at our facility.

Do I need to have my own paddle?

No, you do not need to have a paddle, we will always have free Joola paddles for you to use. If you would like to demo a paddle sold in our pro shop, there will be a $10 fee.

Do we have to be a member to use courts?

No, you do not need to be a member to play at Picklebos, everyone can access the courts via our Booking app. There are member-only programming and perks, though.

What surface are the courts?

Our permanent courts will be Acrytech Cushion-X Courts.

Do I need a reservation to play?

Yes, everyone needs a reservation. Seamless reservations online via our booking app.

Can I pause my membership?

Memberships can not be paused. You can cancel and rejoin if you would like.

Where is your South Boston location? Is it indoors or outdoors?

We are indoors!  The address is 379R Dorchester Ave South Boston MA 02127. The entrance is in the same parking lot as Peter Welch's Boxing Gym (RIght behind Park City, Crossfit Southie, Cannonball Cafe).

Where do I park?

We have generous parking spaces directly outside the facility. Our South Boston location has dedicated parking right outside our entrance and along the back fence of the parking lot. If the spaces are taken there are also unmarked spots at the back of the parking lot.

South Boston: We have spaces outside our entrance marked 'PickleBOS only'. Feel free to also park in any space that does not have a 'reserved' sign.

Charlestown: Up to 3 hours of free parking in the Hood Park garage.

There is also street parking available at both locations. Please check signs for street cleaning.

Do you have food and beverage?

Our South Boston location offers healthy snacks and drinks.  We will also have a bar that serves beer and wine, including beers from top craft breweries Fox Farm Brewery and Trillium.

For catering we have a partnership with some great local restaurants including Park City, Loco, Fat Baby and Dirty Italian.

Do you have restrooms?

Yes, Restrooms are availabe. We also have a shower available in each bathroom.
